METHODOLOGY AND POLICY

Without bias, we dissect statements from public figures and personalities of national concern, or statements made about them, scrutinize relevant information that can affect public health and safety, examine information with impact on our target audience, and probe viral content that are of public interest. As a rule of thumb, we do not fact check satire and opinion.

To verify dubious claims, we are armed with intensive research, multiple (credible and independent) sources, subject matter experts, fact checking tools and techniques from Internews, raw footage, and in-depth pieces collected over the last 30 years by Probe Archives.
